For 32 years, AAFA has successfully sponsored a memorable Breath
of Life Ball® and this year’s gala was no different. On November 27th, over 300
supporters, gathered at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for an exciting evening of
dancing, music, and a silent & live auction- with donations benefiting those who
suffer from asthma and allergies.
NBC’s Dr. Bruce Hensel hosted the event and with
legendary astronaut, Buzz Aldrin; we honored environmental scientist
Alan Lloyd, PhD and pediatric specialist Joe Corless, MD, for their
outstanding contributions to a cleaner environment and effective medical
treatment. In addition, Donald Sterling was commended for his support of AAFA
for the past decade.
